Everyone is looking for a rapture. Anna is trying to find a rapture in religious literature. Pauline envisions her rapture as climbing the ladders in the Hobby Lobby. Leroy wants to get his arts degree from BSU. Will’s pursuit for an Evangelical rapture has never ceased despite its former consequences. Which rapture will Alex choose? Will he follow his foster brother, Leroy, and become an artist? Or will his father, Will, tag him along into an evangelical obscurity? Can these people go beyond the pursuit of their raptures and connect? Or are all their raptures as trivial and isolated as those on a pegboard – a display board that defines Hobby Lobby – a store that provides the cheapest materials for every hobby.
